Merry Christmas

Just want to wish everyone a Merry Merry Christmas and hope you guys get many special gifts from your loved ones and friends!

My baby bought me Mares TechNomad 100 dive bag, it's something i have always wanted not just to keep my dive gears, but its very useful too when i go travelling. The bag isn't small and there's plenty of pockets around, so i'm very happy with the gift :) MUAH hou van jou baby!!

The night started off with a family dinner at Damansara Perdana. The food kinda sucked and it was pretty expensive, RM70 per person for buffet that did not include drinks. It ended up with a RM600 bill. Ouch, for a crappy dinner. As usual being in a very vain family, not forgetting my baby is another camwhore :P

So after dinner, we headed to Sharon's place at Mont Kiara Ayuria last night for some small Christmas Eve gathering. It was all karaoke and chit chatting at the start til we started making 3 teams to play drinking poker :D Yes end of the night, we were all pretty high. Not surprise tho, we finished 1 bottle of Vodka and 2 red wines in barely 1 1/2hours, but it was all really fun =)

4 More days until i leave to Koh Lipe!! My final holiday of 2009, or you can call it the first of 2010 :P Any way you put it, i know it's going to be a real great way to celebrate new years eve! I am looking forward to this trip as much as ever, not only i heard the beaches are nice, the diving aren't bad, and what more you can ask for 20 of my friends are joining the fun!

YAY !! Another holiday trip!

Best part about this trip would be, almost everything are free of charge! My dearest babie parents has sponsored my going and return ticket to Pattaya/Bangkok , from the 7th til the 13th December. Not to mention they also paid for the rooms, which is a 5 star hotel, i forgot where we're staying... lol, i think Sheraton hotel? HAHA it's going to be awesome, but i gotta behave most of them time :( which i suck at it.

Anyway, i will be in Bangkok on the 11th til the 13th. Also another free accommodation thanks to my uncle that works there =) This is what i called a holidayyyyyyyy!! I honestly can't wait to shop cheap stuffs. I have not been to Bangkok since 2007 if im not wrong, i need new 3quaters pants and lots of shirts. Maybe i will also get a custom made coat if i have the time too, they are wayyyyyy cheaper there then Msia that's for sure.

This holiday would probably my second last one with my babie, hopefully everything will be great during that trip! Cross my fingers no rain comes n spoil the day, and Bangkok without any riot :)

Final night & day in Mabul / Sipadan

So here is part 2 of my amazing trip!

Day 4: The day we have been waiting for, The Sipadan trip!

Woke up as early as 6:30am to get ready, bought some extra food / chips because there's no shops or whatsoever in the island.

Then off we go at 8am! The boat ride was pretty rough, kept bouncing up and down. But that did not kept my excitement away, smiling one ear to the other til i reached the island. Eyes and mouth pop wide open when we saw how beautiful the island / sea looked like. Our photos certainly does not put into great view, you gotta be there to see it with your own eyes. Most of the pictures are used from Iphone (we were saving the battery for our underwater shots)

THAT'S IT! My long awaited Sipadan diving trip has come to an end! But i'll be honest, my dive experience in Sipadan weren't that great... Why?

1) The weather was a bit cloudy, so the visibility wasn't at its best! I've heard it could reach 50-60m clear water if the sun is shining bright

2) I did see the great barracuda schooling, but from far away but they did not do their famous vortex movements

3) Expected too much (to see) and ended up only seeing turtles and sharks. Okay a few big ass yellowtail barracudas.

But i am not complaining, many divers in the world are still dreaming to dive there. At least i have done it and certainly wont be my last! I WILL dive there someday, soon :)

After we finish our 3rd dive in Sipadan, the boat send us back to Mabul island where we are staying. But of course that wasn't it, baby and i did a final dive. I wont wanna call it a night dive, but it was dark not long after descending. But it was all worth it, i think it was one of the best dive we did throughout the holiday. But we were super bummed that we finally saw a HUGE ASS PORCUPINE FISH under a cave PUFFED UP, but our camera ran out of battery. OMG! I swear it was fucking cute and i just wish we had enough batter for 1 shot :( Anyway enjoy a few of the unique species we saw in the last dive.

Thats all folks! The end of our Sipadan trip, it was a memorable one. I am very happy to have dived there, even more so, dived with my baby! I am so glad we both love the sport, and i am pretty sure we will be planning more diving trips in future.. til then, enjoy your weekend and have a great night!

Mabul, Kapalai & Sipadan

Let me just start by saying, What an amazing trip it was! Not just the diving, but the amount of fun i had with MY BABY, Ying, Roger & Andy.

Just landed in Tawau airport

October 4th, with barely much needed sleep, off we go jetting to the East M'sia for the very first time! Took us about 2hours 45mins before we reach, then we have to take a one hour cab to the jetty. ( Damn, i hate this part about the island trips ! )All i see was trees..trees...greens...more trees, just imagine Sarawak? LoL.

Not too long after we reach the jetty, we entered the speed boat and it took about 30minutes before we reach our budget home stay. I was expecting pretty bad accommodation, but thankfully its not bad at all, only sad part is they do not have hot shower, and the water is half salty and half clear/normal water. The view of the place is amazing, the water is really clear, the girls then started doing what they do best.. TAKING PICTURES!! hehe

Almost instant after we dropped our bags in the room, we were told to get ready. YES READY FOR DIVE!! Muahahaha i was just super excited, and damn it did not disappoint at all! We saw so many new stuffs, and learnt new species too.. Oh yes, i can finally say i dive with A LOT of turtles, camwhored with so many of them as well, heaheahe!! Day 3: There was something different about day3, we woke early as usual to have our breakfast and off we go to our first dive! But we manage to get Roger & Ying to do discover scuba, whereby they only learn how to breathe underwater and mask clearing, just some basic and get to feel how scuba diving it's like. Not surprisingly, they enjoyed it to the max! They were lucky enough to see turtles, lion fishes, pipe fish.. even manage to capture a few not very good pictures of them with a turtle, haha..It was at a very sandy bottom, so it was pretty hard to take nice pics.

After their discover scuba, we had to rush off to Semporna city at the jetty for a night. Everyone that wants to go Sipadan needs to spend a night there, some kinda new rule implemented by the government i think? I will just post a few pics of what we took in the "city" and then continue the Sipadan trip and our final dive in Mabul in the next entry :) Enjoy!

I am officially 25 years old!

I threw a party in Long Bar yesterday night, it was fun to see almost everyone that i invited came for it. But someone came without inviting too... "FEVER" I felt very cold and weak the whole night. After a glass of flaming and a lot of tequilla pop shots, my head were spinning all over the place. Thankfully my friend did notice i wasn't lying and did not torture me anymore that night. I took a short nap and felt a little better to find out Ying(My baby's friend) was puking all over the club! HAHAH, she left a little trail on the way to the washroom. I also heard she drank quite a number of tequilla pops, beers, whiskey. Way to go women! Mix it up :P

I am not sure if there's many pictures taken, because i was purely sitting and suffering the whole night. Even when my cake arrived, i was just stoning, never really smile at any cameras or make a proper wish i think? LOL! Damn, this sucks :(
I will check with my baby if there's any pictures to upload, hopefully there is.

Before i end this post, i would like to thank all my friends who have made it to the party. I know it wasn't the best party around, but everytime when it comes to my bday party, it's like a group reunion where all my friends that hasn't seen each other for a long time comes around :P So thank you again, XOXO! :D
